Our Impact
At D.O.C. Studios, we understand the importance of creating a performing arts community that fosters creative growth and provides opportunities primarily focusing on young 18 to 35, but all are welcome. We are motivated by Dr. Scott Miller's impactful legacy, which inspired young people at Cleveland School of the Arts to apply their imagination to discover who they are and want to be. As Dr. Miller once said, "Acting is tough. It requires self-discipline, technique, and working with others, but the payoff is a sense of rich achievement."
The Legacy Expanded
By expanding Dr. Miller's legacy to young adults beyond high school, whether they studied theater and film as teenagers or are exploring it for the first time, D.O.C. Studios offers continuing opportunities for personal growth and achievement through the performing arts. We aim to provide young adults, especially in underrepresented communities, with an affordable, professional studio to study acting, develop scripts, connect, and have their voices lifted in performance.

Providing Opportunities and Development: Offering classes, showcases, productions, and professional development.

Fostering Talent: Supporting young adults to continue their craft in theatre or film, which they might otherwise abandon due to lack of resources and support.

Promoting Community: Ensuring talent from underrepresented communities have a platform to be seen and appreciated.

Access

D.O.C Studios provides access to quality performing arts education, exposure, and opportunities for communities facing socioeconomic barriers, limited resources, and access.
